Allen Mandolin
tailpiece on my Giacometti j5 and it is wonderful. I bought
it two years ago and play it all the time so it’s well
broken in but there was something that I just couldn’t get
and this piece brought it to life and gave it wonderful
sustain and fullness. The original tailpiece has a floppy
joint in it and though it tightens under strings I started
thinking energy was being lost and this proves it was. I’ve
gotten several of your tailpieces and have always been

Thought you'd want to know I got great results by
installing one of your AR-2 tailpieces and some D'Addario J-81
strings on my Trinity College Irish bouzouki. It went from

My new AR2 arrived today and what a difference it makes on my
1986 Duff F5! Bare in mind that this mando was close to being
sold because it was going dead. After a hard life on the road
with the previous owner who played with the Amazing Rythm Aces
and Sawyer Brown, it had seen its best days and pretty much
gone flat. Your new tailpiece has given it new life with a
substantial increase in volume, pop, and sustain. It's like
getting a new mandolin. I thank you and also my wife thanks
you for keeping a few thousand bucks in our pockets!!
